Barbie Jean Ludovise, age 1

I was born on Dec. 15,1962 in Los Angeles, California. As  the youngest of five children, I was the center of attention--and the queen of mischief. My family had a good sense of humor. They sure needed one!

I've always loved animals--almost as much as this green velour shirt. I wore it almost daily for two years!

I was quite a tomboy, so I know it took a lot for my mom to convince me into this girly outfit. In fact, I'm certain I got to pick out a new Hot Wheels car right after this photo session!
